A group project in which we shared the stories and emotions from inside the salon, we wanted to document an unsung hero and backbone of communities.
This magazine shares some interviews from both client and stylist points of view whilst also giving our own opinion on the impacts we think the salon has.
The book takes on a traditional beauty / fashion magazine style, with the printed version using a mirror cover to symbolise the importance it has in these conversations.
I also worked on the short film which went alongside the magazine at its final exhibition (click here to view).
